Luise Stromberg, the woman behind warpeDesign, has always loved making stuff. She doodled her way through high school, took every art course she could, and went off to RISD thinking she'd be an illustrator. But she was diverted by a fascination with Textile Design, and her creative soul found its home, making beauty with a function.

Luise has worked for textile mills and distributors, creating fabrics from image to weave construction to color, but she missed being elbow deep in the raw materials. So she started making warpeDesign products, which play with light and dimension and return her to creating funtional beauty.
